The Necromancer

First let me just start off by saying it's been awhile, I've been busy with school (though most of my teachers probably doubt I've actually been working) but i wrote the begining of this story in tonight. so i thought I'd share it.

--The Necromancer--
A man stood at the top of a sand dune, he was wearing a black robe, with Gold stripes down the arms, and baggy pants, it was the type of thing that one would see in stories of Arabia, he wore a Kufi, a type of hat, which too was black, and every few inches had a gold stripe going down it. He held a dead bird in his right hand. The full moon lit the entire desert with a pale blue-silver glow. In the Distance he could see the faint blue-ish glow of minarets and the domes of buildings, however, he knew that these were not real buildings but the magics of this sacred place imposing long forgotten memories of civilizations eons old, and now dead, upon the landscape. Suddenly as if out of nowhere a tiny, dark blue creature appeared from out of the sand at the foot of his dune. The creature had a round head with no nose what so ever, pitch black eyes and a slit for a mouth, with long fangs protruding from within. The rest of his body was skinny, it seemed that the slightest breeze would snap his body in half due to its being so top heavy. It had long, silver claws, which were attached to spindly arms, hardly noticeable against the glow of the moon. It sniffed the Air, and apparently caught a whiff of what it was looking for, as it looked pleased, and came scrambling up the dune toward the man.

"Here, eat up." Said the man. He held the dead Carrion Bird up for the creature to see.
The Creature Eyed it up and down, then he quickly grabbed it, holding his hand over it. Suddenly a Blue flame shot up from the birds chest and he caught it in his hand. "...This is all?" The Creature asked in a dry whisper, which is all his race ever spoke in. "You, a Necromancer, could not find a greater death? Your type, even hindered by your humanity, are better death seekers then any of the races of this place. How can you expect to receive the Info you so long for, if all I get is this pathetic excuse for a meal. We Ghouls trade info, we do not give it away for free. I would be better off killing you and letting you bake in the sun for a few days than eating this, for it will not sustain me."

"More is to come, I want to make sure the information is reliable." Said the Necromancer. "I have had dealings with Ghouls in the past, although you are always true to your word, you will not hesitate to kill your employer if you feel that they would be of more use to you in your stomach. But trust me, I will not be easy to kill should you try, and I have the dead on my side, you would be wise to remember that. This desert is filled with the dead, and the undead, Century old Skeletons preserved in long forgotten tombs, and lets not forget the countless Animals, and people that die here everyday, it is not friendly to life to say the least." He Grinned, and just to make his point, waved his hand over the bird, who suddenly straightened up and began pecking at the Ghouls Forehead.

"I understand, I would never betray one so powerful in the Art of necromancy anyway. Your type, the Necromancer, is closer to all of the creatures of this place, those that come from another plane of existence, yet find their Sustanince here, then any other of your race. My people hold reverence for your type." With that the Ghoul opened his mouth and breathed in the blue flame which came from the bird. Just as the last bit of flame was consumed the bird stopped its pecking and fell flat to the ground, all it's soul drained it was about as useful as a rock, not nutrients left in it at all. "Al'shias soputru alhime zhar'zin" Spoke the Ghoul, a Prayer in an archaic language only known by the ghouls, to his god, the god of death, which today came in the form of this Necromancer. "Now then, What was it you wished to know?"

"The location, of the library of the gods." The Necromancer smiled, finally they were getting down to business. "I wish to gain access to it, and its many tomes."

"Aah, The library of the Gods, That's tricky, it's well protected, yes, that is where the gods keep records of all time, every bit of knowledge, every moment of everyone and everythings life is recorded there, what do you want with it?" The Ghoul hissed. "For it is forbidden by the gods that we Ghouls speak of it, our knowledge is boundless, but we obey our creators, if i am to speak of this, I better get a good last meal out of this, I do not fear death, but i like existing to much to give it up."

"I killed you a sand mole, before I felled it, it begged for it's life, it told me it was 700 years old, It would take me to its colony and sacrifice all the sand moles there if only i spare it's life. In other words, it's last moments were that of deep sorrow. I am sure you will enjoy it's essence." He could see the ghoul dripping saliva on the sand at the very thought of it.

"Yes, I shall tell you, for that it is worthwhile."

By sunrise the Sand Moles essence was all consumed, and the Necromancer had gone on his way, off to the east, with each step, his goal got closer.

--My thoughts--
I always write these stories in my head, and when i do they're amazing, but something is just lost in translation when put down in type. sorry it sorta sucks.

School Story

Amon was alone again. He took out a pill and swallowed it whole, and waited. Within a few minutes Amons vision began to swim with color, slowly he let his being fade into it. He was falling, down through the ground, into the center of the Earth. Suddenly he was surrounded by buzzing things speaking to him to fast to understand, in a language he didn't recognize in the first place.

“What do you want?” He asked “Slow down, I can't understand a word you're saying.”
The buzzing began fading away, Amon couldn't see which way the creatures, or whatever they were, but he wanted to follow, he thought they might know something very important about him.

“Hey, Come back!” he Screamed. “ Please, help me, What is going on with me!?”

Then came a low growl, from what seemed like everywhere at once, as if the whole Universe (If it could be said he was still in the Universe) was growling, gurgling, and buzzing around him. He could feel his body flex, bend, and move with the sounds of this place, fighting off nausea with every fiber of his being. Suddenly his body exploded, with feelings and emotions, It felt as if he was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. This sudden burst of energy, and emotion seemed to draw in those creatures again. The buzzed around him, and he finally got a glimpse of them. They were Large almost like giant preying mantises.

They were all different colors, with huge bug eyes, and sickle like claws at the end of there long spindly arms.

Suddenly where the deep void was, there was now a huge elliptical room, and he was sitting in the middle of it. The creatures still buzzed about him, although most had landed on the cold hard white surface. The room looked very much like a doctors office, and smelled like one too he noted. The room was lined with white beds, and machines that looked as if they were meant to measure vital signs. Each bed had a person in it, who Amon soon realized was himself, and above each was a monitor.

Getting up Amon looked more closely at the monitor nearest him, It showed a man, on stage at a rock concert singing, Amon realized that that too was himself.

“W-What's going on here?” Amon asked the room in general. “I remember that, but, is that still happening now? That's not how it was when i was a moment ago...” he said trailing off at the end.

“Nooooo” buzzed the insect like creature closest to him. “That is still going on nowwwww”

“But...”Amon Stammered. “How is that possible, I am here not there. Or there” He noted gesturing towards the monitor next to the bed to his right.

This monitor was showing him still discussing something with a peculiar skunk-man which he was still under the impression was from his last drug trip.

“The thing is you are there, these are alternate yous, everyone has alternate thems, well, except us, the ones that live in this realmmmmm” said the creature. “Or at least, we cannot find any of us elsewhere”

“Well, Why didn't I just stay in my original self? Why have I seen through all of those other selfs eyes?”

“Technically speaking, these are all the 'original you' however they all share a soul, a better question (which we still cannot answer since it has never happened before) is why is that soul making itself become self-aware through one at a timeeeeee?” he buzzed in aggravated motion, obviously they had never had problems in this...whatever it was.

Amon left his other selfs table, and began wandering around the room, looking into each monitor, noting each one was a different reality, even some that he had yet to 'experience'.

“Or...” thought Amon “...My 'soul' had yet to experience directly yet.”
Why was this happening to him?

He looked at one particular scene, it showed a man (himself he guessed) though it didn't look like him, not exactly at least. His hair beard was grown out, and his eyes were wild. Also, He was in a prison, which startled Amon greatly.

“That...”said the creature closest to that monitor “...is a prison for Terrorist.”

“What?! But i'm not a terrorist. Or...Am I? I am in this reality aren't I? What is going on here?”

“Every time someone makes a decision there soul splits and an alternative them is made, one for the decision they made, and one for the ones they did not choose as opposed to that one...”

“But I never even thought of becoming a Terrorist as far as i can remember!”

“No, sometimes these 'timelines' merge when someone offers you a choice, so someone asked you to become one and you accepted in this reality, and in another you declined, and some you were never asked because the person chose not to.”

Amon looked taken aback, this was a lot to take in, if it was real that is, or could this all just be a dream?

“What the hell is this place?!” Snapped Amon.

“This is...” began the creature.

Amon leaned against the bed of the “terrorist Amon” to listen, but his fingers accidentally met the other Amons, and suddenly he was falling through the floor.

“No! I want to know! Take me back!” shouted Amon.

He landed with a thud against the ground, and realized he was staring up at a prison cell ceiling. He reached up and touched his chin, there was a beard there.

“Oh no” He said quietly to himself. “This is not where I want to be at all. Not at all”

He closed his eyes in deep concentration, hoping beyond hope that he wouldn't be here long. Then the cell door opened, and in walked a buff man.

Good God?

And the Lord spake unto the philosopher, "I am the Lord thy God, and I am the source of all that is good. Why does thy secular moral philosophy ignore me?'
And the Philosopher spake unto the Lord, 'To Answer I must 1st ask you some quesiton. You Command us to do what is good. But is it good b/c you command it, or do you command it because it is good?'
'Ur,' said the Lord,'It's good because I command it?'
'The wrong answer, surely, your mightness! If the good is only good b/c you say it is so, then yu could, if you wished, make it so that torturing infants was good. Bur that would be absurd, wouldn't it?'
'Of course!' replieth the Lord. 'I tested thee and thou hast made me pleased. What was the other choice again?'
You choose what is good b/c it is good. But that shows quite clearly that goodness does not depend on you at all. So we don't need to study God to study the good.'
'Even so,' spake the Lord,' you've got to admit I've written some pretty good textbooks on the subject...'

Caturday

So, as of late i've found that something i've been doing is not so wonderful for my mental health, so i've stopped for now. I won't say what that is, as it doesn't matter. I'm really tired, i'll update sometime before next week with the "...of the week" stuff. as for now, enjoy this:

Saber Rattling all around!

SLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) - Pakistan successfully tested an indigenous short-range, nuclear- capable missile on Saturday, the military said.

The surface-to-surface Abdali ballistic missile—with a range of 125 miles—was launched from an undisclosed location inside Pakistan. The missile "can carry all types of warheads," the military said in a statement issued from Rawalpindi, a garrison city near the capital, Islamabad.

The military did not provide any further details, but Pakistan and its nuclear-armed rival, neighboring India, routinely test missiles.

Pakistan's latest comes about a week after India tested its indigenously developed air-to-air Astra missile, with a range of up to 50 miles.

Aswell as:
RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for Railways Shaikh Rashid Ahmed while expressing fear of a US attack on Iran has categorically stated that Pakistan would never offend a Muslim neighbour at the cost of a fair-weather friend, the US.

“We would support Iran if attacked by the United States and would not provide airbases to America,” he stated in categorical terms.

Addressing a ceremony held in connection with Pakistan Day celebrations at Lal Hawaili here on Friday, Rashid said it is now Iran's term after the US attacked Iraq and Afghanistan. “The US is sitting ready to attack Iran but Pakistan will never allow Washington to use its territory for launching an attack,” he added.

Being a nuclear state, the responsibility of Pakistan has increased manifold as far as conflicts in the region are concerned. “Pakistan is in a leading position for the Muslim Ummah and it would be impossible for Pakistan to support America in this regard.”

But wait, there's more!
WASHINGTON: Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah warned Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that he should not underestimate the US military threat on Iran, Newsweek reported late on Friday.

Ahmadinejad met with King Abdullah on March 4 in Riyadh, and publicly the two leaders agreed to fight growing Sunni-Shia strife in the region. Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal told Newsweek in an interview that the king meanwhile warned Ahmadinejad to take seriously threats of US military strikes over Iran’s refusal to halts its uranium enrichment programme.

“On the nuclear issue, we warned him: ‘Don’t play with fire. Don’t think the threat [of an American attack on Iran] is a nonexistent threat; think that it’s a real threat, maybe even a palpable threat,’” Faisal said in the interview posted on the Newsweek website on Friday.

Interesting Side note:

BEIJING (Reuters) - China's state-run Zhuhai Zhenrong Corp, the biggest buyer of Iranian crude worldwide, began paying for its oil in euros late last year ...

"Most of China's purchases have shifted to euro. It's not difficult so long as our banks can handle that," said a Chinese state oil trader.

Japanese buyers, including top refiner Nippon Oil Corp., said they had all received inquiries from Iran to pay on non-U.S. dollar terms, but were awaiting an official request.

Florida

Florida is...very bright. I'm not a fan of bright. I do not like Florida, it's not my idea of relaxing. I'm more of a Mountains/lakes kind of person. There are to many people here, and not a lot of pretty scenery although i did get a few good shots. I did go out in the sun (O_O i know!) and i'm wearing shorts for the first time in like 5 years XD. My sisters friend is with us too (sadly) Jenna is not bad in small doses XD but she's an airhead, and this is her first vacation (Except to Illinois). I feel mean now *shrugs* I'm sorta looking forward to school (except the homework...and the classes). I miss Sarah a lot. and all of my friends. and some of my teachers. XD i beat Yoshi's Island DS yesterday, and i've been doing some of the "secret missions". i'm also finishing up the book conquistador by S.M. Stirling, finally XD.
After being down here i'm interested pirates. I'm thinking i'll read about pirates when i'm done with this book. not fiction stuff this time though, History stuff.
Tomorrow i have to wake up at like 6 to get ready since we need to be out of here by 8 A.M. to get to the airport on time. which sucks, because I haven't been waking up till noon-ish.

Spring break

SPRING BREAK IS FINALLY HERE. Except I've gotta head to Florida. and i have no desire to go their, to many people, to much sun, to much beach. I'd rather go north to Minnesota or out west to the mountains, to me that's more relaxing than the beach. I'd rather look at the beauty of nature (while it's still around) then go to the beach and see how we humans have turned something that could be relaxing and beautiful into a commercial activity. I'll update over break. I plan to just play some Star Craft.

Theory about Kingdom Hearts

okay, so, the creator of KHII said that there was something important about Kairi's Keyblade that has yet to be revealed in the games.

and in the game Micky says: The world is made of Light and Darkness, you can't have one without the other.

so my theory is that Riku represents the Darkness (which has been made quiet obvious) and so he has the keyblade of darkness. Kairi probably represents Light (again made obvious via her ability to open the door to light in the end of KHII and the fact that she gets a keyblade) so she gets the keyblade of light. So then what is sora? Sora is the Bridge between light and dark, which is important...somehow in the future...and probably now, i'm just missing something, SOMEONE POINT OUT WHAT I'M MISSING!

God of War II

So, apparently god of war 2 is amazing as dictated by...The greek gods themselves? If only i could convince myself that i would enjoy a game of just hack and slash, which i doubt i could ever do. Also, although the first one got amazing reviews, I have my doubts about it...Like HATING IT shh don't tell will I said that or he'll go Kratos on my arse.

In other gaming news, I'm looking into the possibility of Paper Mario and the thousand year door, being amazing. I feel i should play it since the first one for the N64 was really good, and the one for the Wii looks wonderful. It's just a question of weather i want to spend my limited resources. aka monies.

I'm going on vacation over spring break, going to Key West, FL I'm sort of in the mood for the beach and some sun oddly enough. Maybe I'll come back with a fair amount of tan, and blonder hair, Maybe not. We always go to Florida, I like it their, but it gets old sometimes, and I really wish we could go to Minnesota, or out to Arches National Park or something. My favorite beach I've ever been to is in California, I ask why we can't go back their, and never get an answer, oh well that is the way of life.

Given that grade cards come out soon, I'm sort of disappointed in myself again. I'm vowing to do better this quarter, but i do that every quarter, and after about one week I decide that i like lazy better.

--Squeaks

Laziness overwhelms, or McDonalds burns us

I hate being lazy sometimes, Today was a nice day, and i was going to go for a bike ride after school with a friend of mine, except he had to go to No Coast to try out for the battle of the bands stuff. So i took a friend home, and then went on home myself, by the time i got home i was like, you know i'd rather not go out, i'm really tired, so i'ma take a nap...which is what i did instead of going out biking.

also i just ate McDonalds, I hate McDonalds, and every time i eat it my stomach feels like it's on fire, which raises the question why do i continue? Probably because it's fast.

Saturday, March 17, 2007

Well, Hello there

Weekends are nice. Don't have to worry about school really. not until tomorrow at least when I have to do homework. On the Subject of school I'm sure i failed Reda's book project I had to turn in, which doesn't bode well for my grade (which was already shit) but that's to be expected from me. I don't like English (which is odd since Reda is my favorite teacher this year, and last year it was Varnes) and when i don't like something, my willingness to put effort forth towards it is minimal at best. You see it is my belief that one should not have to study in areas that are of no interest or of any use in the field they plan to move onto in life. I for instance am interested in World history, particularly Native Americans, and Indians (the ones in India.) I can see very little use for use for more then the most basic English for this, how to write a good paper. Same goes for Math (except basics), Science ("), A PE class, Art (unrelated to areas of interest), or anything else i might have missed. The only good I can see in going to these other classes are finding out what you are interested in, but only do that until you find a field you really love (weather that be in 8th grade, or 12th) and then drop the other classes and stick only with things that will advance you on your way. I often fear that my Teachers and friends think I'm stupid what with my horrid grades, but the thing is, Grades do not reflect my intellect at all, people point to my grade cards and say " those are straight Fs (and a B in walking) why are you doing that if you're smart" to me information that is pushed on me, as in the case of school, is only chains that hold me down and keep me from learning about what i truly find important.

--Rant over--
I've had a good weekend. Friday after school we (William, Cooper, Will, and I) stayed behind and watched the Student-Teacher Basketball game, Students pwnt the teachers and if the teachers uphold their end of the deal a few will be bald, one has to grow his hair out, and my English teacher Mr.Reda has to get a mohawk (English will be more interesting atleast). Later that night Will H, William W, Cooper L, Claire F, and Jill L all came over Friday night and we hung out for awhile in my basement. Will spent the night, and then about 2:00 today I met up with sarah and the emo triad + Dante, Madie, Sarah, and Anna spent time together. For thsoe of you that don't know The emo triad is Eamon C, Charles R, and Me.

No most of my blogs won't be this boring. This was more of an intro. I'll include recent happenings for sure, Along with Paranormal stuff, Personal Rants, and other misc. stuff.
